THE STARS SHINE THROUGH THE RAIN AT SEASON 2 FINALE OF ATL LIVE ON THE PARK
Last night amidst the warm Georgia rain the stars still shined strong at the season 2 finale of Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols’ Atl Live on the Park hosted by the Lifestyle Guru himself, Kenny Burns.
The event perculated with powerhouse performances by R&B favorites including headliner Lil Mo who blessed the industry elite doused crowd by singing several favorites including “Superwoman” “4Ever” and new tracks from her independent album P.S. I Love Me.
Other R&B favorites included 90’s R&B group Soul 4 Real hitting the stage 3 men Strong and in full choreography ending their performance with a tribute to their late mentor Heavy D.
Lucky attendees also got a taste of music’s next generation of superstars like much buzzed about Def Jam artist Luke James who showcased powerful vocals with a smooth falsetto.
So So Def/Epic newcomer Brandon Hines was proudly introduced by Jermaine Dupri before coyly showing off his old school voice and new school style. Other notable attendees included So So Def recording artist Dondria, Singer/songwriter Dave Hollister of 90’s R&B group Blackstreet, Chaka Zulu of DTP, Roger Bobb, Demetria McKinney of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Ronnie Devoe of New Edition/BBD, legendary choreographers Devyne Stephens and Frank Gatson were in the building as well as Peter Thomas of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
ATL LIVE ON THE PARK will return March 2012.
